Regional & State Relays Championships
This major LAQ event encourages and allows athletes to compete in track and field teams and is by far the most popular of our Association Days both from a competition and spectator basis.
Eligibility
· Qualifying Summer season LAQ athletes U9 - U17’s (1st – 3rd placed teams from the Regional Relays)
· Winter Centre and Central Coast registered athletes U9 – U17’s track and field teams
Nomination
· Summer Season Athletes qualify by competing at the McDonald's Regional Relays. Qualifying athletes must advise their Centre Committee if they are not able to participate as soon as possible.
· Winter Centre and Central Coast simply directly nominate teams to be part of this competition – maximum of three teams per event per Region.
Nominations for the State Relay Championships (U9 - U17 track and field teams) are processed by the Centres.
Nominations are needed for this carnival very early in the season.
